SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly, professional, and technical roles. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies, ensuring a strong and diverse talent pipeline. During periods of reduced recruiting activity, the position may assist with limited administrative or special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager to define staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring criteria.
- Post open positions to the company website, recruitment platforms, professional organizations, and relevant job boards.
- Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and initial candidate assessments.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews (virtual and onsite); assist with interviews as requested.
- Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers regarding candidate status and hiring progress.
- Support the offer process, including reference checks, and coordination of pre-employment screenings.
- Manage and maintain accurate candidate data and workflows in the Applicant Tracking System (Applicant Stack).
- Track and report recruiting metrics and activity to management.
- Attend job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of recruiting trends, sourcing tools, and best practices.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned and assist with company related events.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting technical, engineering, professional, or manufacturing roles.
- Proficiency with ATS systems (Applicant Stack preferred) and recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).
- Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
