SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and conducting end-to-end recruiting process: creating job postings, identifying, sourcing, screening, and engaging applicants from the initial contact phase to offer negotiation. Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization including hourly positions, engineering, and professional positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have a well-developed knowledge of full-cycle recruiting components. In addition, in periods of slow recruiting activity, this position will assist with HR Administrative tasks or other special HR projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies to support organizational staffing directives
- Leverage social networks and online recruitment platforms (Zip Recruiter, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) to find qualified active and passive candidates.
- Ensure continuous development of recruiting/sourcing skills and knowledge using the latest sourcing and recruiting methods and technologies
- Develop content for online recruitment tools and maintains the accuracy of all job postings
- Maintains current knowledge of job posting requirements – company, federal, and state.
- Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions as required.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager to determine staffing needs and drives recruiting campaigns that align with company strategies while following established hiring processes.
- Collaborate with department managers and the Human Resources Manager to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Posts open positions to the Company website, with professional organizations, recruitment platforms, State employment agencies, and all pertinent geographical or industry-related job boards.
- Maintains current knowledge of job posting requirements – company, federal, and state.
- Manage and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) Applicant Stack with necessary updates as job requisitions are processed and fulfilled.
- Screens resume, conducts phone screening interviews and tracks candidates’ workflow in Applicant Stack (ATS).
- Conducts regular, timely follow-ups with hiring managers on resumes and prospective candidates.
- Schedules interviews – via Zoom or onsite, and oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, via Zoom and onsite, attending interviews with hiring managers as requested.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and Human Resources Manager during the offer process.
- Conducts reference checks.
- Assists in preparing and sending employment offers.
- Initiates pre-employment drug screens, and any required background checks.
- Schedules and conducts candidates' new hire orientations and initiates company-required training.
- Maintains and provides up-to-date recruiting metrics, data, and reports to management.
- Maintains strong relationships with management staff to ensure alignment between recruiting strategies and business/company decisions
- Maintains confidential employee correspondence and files both electronically and manually
- Miscellaneous HR tasks during periods of slow recruiting activity
- Assists with company event planning and facilitation.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 4 years conducting full cycle recruitment.
- Minimum 2 years of technical recruiting experience for engineering, professional, manufacturing and general business positions.
- Proficient computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ATS software (Application Stack preferred), and various recruitment platforms – Monster, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter etc.
- Experience working within an organization as an internal recruiter.
- Possess fundamental interviewing skills and experience.
